New poster of Sidharth and Sonakshi-starrer ‘Ittefaq’ is intriguing

Yesterday, we witnessed one of the most interesting trailers of 2017. Well, we are talking about the trailer of Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer ‘Ittefaq’ which is a remake of a 1969 release with the same name. The trailer of the film was not launched with much fanfare, but was simply posted on social media.

The trailer has impressed everyone, and the makers are going to do something that not many filmmakers opt to do nowadays. Well, the film won’t be promoted much. There won’t be interviews and media interaction, only a buzz on the social media will be created and print publicity will take place.

After the engaging trailer, the makers have now unveiled a new poster which is very intriguing. It shows a different side of the film’s story and surely creates a curiosity to watch the film. Sonakshi on her Instagram handle posted the picture and wrote, “कबसे कह रही हु… I was alone at home & he forced himself in… Here’s my truth: goo.gl/tCQWKC #IttefaqNov3.” [sic]

The trailer has not just impressed us, but has also been liked by a lot of people. In less than 24 hours of its release, the trailer has received 11 million views which is outstanding. (Also Read: 5 ‘Ittefaq’ moments from the trailer that are making the wait unbearable)

‘Ittefaq’ also stars Akshaye Khanna in the lead role, and it is slated to hit the screens on November 3, 2017. It will be interesting to see if the makers’ new strategy of not promoting the film, will work well or not.
