Post attack, Shah Rukh Khan resumes shooting of ‘Raees’

Shah Rukh Khan, who is in Gujarat shooting for his upcoming film ‘Raees,’ had to face a revolt by Vishwa Hindu Parishad recently. Following his intolerance controversy, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad tried to bring a halt to the shooting of the film by carrying out a protest against the star. According to the reports, the protesters screamed slogans against the star and the property of the hotel where the entire cast and crew is residing had been damaged. But, fortunately, all of this did not hamper the confidence of the Badshah Khan who continued with the shoot.

The next day, the team of ‘Raees’ reached the ancient Sarkhej Roza in Ahmedabad where some scenes for the film had to be shot. The usual process of the filming was being carried out when suddenly a group of 7 people stone-pelted King Khan’s car parked outside the shooting location leading to a chaos among the crew. Reports suggest that following the protest by VHP, a bikers gang threw stones at SRK’s black Mercedes bringing about a damage to his car and sped away. Shooting then came to a halt for a short span of time.

It’s obvious that such incidents can affect anyone’s zest but not Badshah Khan’s. We have now learnt that SRK has resumed the shooting of ‘Raees’ post the attack. The security surrounding the star has been increased but no changes have been made to the shooting schedule of the film. Shah Rukh with full enthusiasm is back on the sets of ‘Raees’ and the cameras are rolling, capturing his power-packed performance for the film. The film helmed by Rahul Dholakia is set to hit the theatres on the auspicious day of Eid.
