IIFA 2023: Rakulpreet Singh reveals exciting details about her performance

IIFA Awards 2023 is just around the corner and fans are quite excited to see the award functions. Considering that it is one of the prestigious awards, fans are intrigued to know the nominations as well as the performances. Speaking of which, actor Rakul Preet Singh will be performing at IIFA and guess what? She just revealed some exciting details about her upcoming performance at the award function.

During the recent press conference, the Chhatriwali actor spoke about her excitement to perform on the stage for the very first time. When asked how her preparations are going on, she said, “Fantastic. Of course, you always have that little nervous energy that you should not forget (steps) and rehearse it over and over again. It is part of the muscle memory, the entire choreography. So, it is going well.“

Revealing more details about her act, Rakul further added, “I’m very excited about the performance as this is the first time, I’m performing at IIFA. I always used to watch IIFA at home during my childhood. It used to happen internationally on a large scale. I’m very excited about my performance. It is an act that has never been seen before on the IIFA stage. My performance is a tribute to the black-and-white era. I can’t reveal much but even songs will be a surprise for you guys. It is about the black-and-white cinema, their adayein, their charisma will be seen.“

The International Indian Film Academy Awards 2023 will be happening at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi this month. Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Nora Fatehi and Ayushmann Khurana will also set the stage on fire with special performances.

Moreover, IIFA Rocks will be hosted by Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao this time.
