Actor Yash has been actively promoting ‘Ramayana’ at CinemaCon, and his recent revelations have taken social media by storm. In his latest interview, he spilt the beans about the film’s release date. Fans following the ‘Ramayana’ saga know that the team announced a Diwali release for the film. But an exact date has not yet been revealed. While Diwali falls in early November (5-11), the film’s lead antagonist hinted that fans might see the movie arrive a week earlier.
Yash Teases October Release For Ramayana
In a video from his interview with a Hollywood news portal, Yash suggested a late-October release window for ‘Ramayana: Part 1’. Speaking at CinemaCon 2026, he revealed, “‘Ramayana’ we are planning this year, (on) Diwali, which is October last week,” indicating a possible shift from the previously discussed timelines. ‘Ramayana’ to avoid clash with ‘Godzilla’
If the film releases at the end of October, it could gain an advantage in the crowded year-end box office. It would also avoid clashing with the monster film Godzilla Minus Zero. It is scheduled for release on November 6, and so is the children’s film The Cat in the Hat. Both ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Godzilla’ are eyeing IMAX releases. And if one drops out of the box office battle, both films could benefit.

Talking to the portal, he assured fans that the final product will meet high standards. “The photorealistic (scenes) that you are talking about is still work in progress. I’m sure it will be even more better with the finish product. We are aiming at a product that is top-notch,” he said.
