FIRST LOOK: Ranveer Singh in Don 3 confirmed! It’s truly the beginning of a new era

Bollywood is set to witness the emergence of a new Don in the realm of cinema. Director Farhan Akhtar has officially announced that there will be a new Don. But that’s not all, he also asked us to shower the same amount of love upon him as we did previously for Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. Finally, after tons of rumours and speculations, we have the new Don of Bollywood. Yes, it’s none other than Ranveer Singh leading the movie Don 3.

Director Farhan Akhtar in collaboration with the producer Ritesh Sidhwani and his company Excel Entertainment released the first teaser. Sharing the teaser, the caption read, “A New Era Begins. #Don3.”

In the announcement video of Don 3, we see Ranveer taking on the role of the new Don with a complete attitude. The black shades, husky voice, and classic leather jacket with a hood have added to the excitement. The Don movie franchise is known to have some of the most iconic dialogues. This first-look teaser also hints that we are about to be treated with gripping dialogues in this part.

Don 3 will be releasing in theatres in 2025. It is also rumoured that the leading lady in Don 3 is Kiara Advani. Kiara Advani was clicked visiting Ritesh Sidhawani’s office in the city. Her appearance sparked rumours that the actress might be the leading lady of the film.

Fans are quite excited to see Ranveer in the role and the comment sections are flooded with praise and appreciation. A comment read, “Is there any character which @ranveersingh baba can’t act?!” Farhan Akhtar’s sister Zoya Akhtar also showed her support by commenting, “I love you.” On the other hand, his wife Shibani Dandekar dropped fire emojis.

About the Don movie franchise

The Don franchise started with Amitabh Bachchan as the OG Don in 1978. In 2006 Farhan Akhtar directed a remake which featured Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role and he stole hearts. Later in 2011, SRK reprised his role in Don 2 and the story continues. The sequel maintained the franchise’s trademark mix of action, suspense, and charismatic performances. We are now eager to see Ranveer Singh’s magic on-screen.
