Revealed – Salman Khan left Bajirao Mastani because of Aishwarya Rai

Bajirao Mastani‘s first look and Teaser are being loved my one and all. Ranveer Singh looks perfect as Maratha Peshwa Bajirao. But little did we know that Salman Khan was the first choice for Bajirao in ‘Bajrao Mastani’. Yes you heard it right!

Then what made him opt out of the movie? As per sources, Salman Khan was offered the lead role in Bajirao Mastani, however after Salman’s break-up with Aishwarya, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is a close friend of Aishwarya supported her. This obviously soured the relation between Salman Khan and Bhansali.

After Salman Khan left Bajirao Mastani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave up on the project and put it aside. However the Ram Leela jodi got Bhansali again working on the project with Ranveer and Deepika.
