RRR: Hollywood action director Nick Powell shoots climax sequence of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is a maverick and is known for his distinct storytelling style. After enthralling the audience with his blockbuster Baahubali franchise, Rajamouli is now gearing up to treat the audience with his period action-drama film RRR.

Owing to the pandemic, the shooting of RRR was stalled but now the makers are shooting the final leg of the film. And guess what? Renowned Hollywood action director Nick Powell has come on board to shoot the film’s climax sequence.

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is one of the most anticipated films of 2021. The period action drama stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead role. The pan India film also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role.

Now welcoming Nick Powell on board, the official handle of RRR tweeted, “Renowned Hollywood Action Director, Nick Powell, joins the last leg of climax. Just when you thought the climax shoot couldn’t get any#RRRDiaries…#RRR #RRRMovie(sic).”

Interestingly, Nick is also a part of Prabhas’ upcoming romantic drama, Radhe Shyam. The action-director seems to be the most sought after in the South film industry. Nick has Hollywood films like Gladiator, 2.0, X-Men: The Last Stand and The Bourne Identity to his credit.

Coming back to Rajamouli’s magnum opus, it is scheduled to hit the marquee on October 13, 2021. RRR also features Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody.
