Salman Khan talks about his concept of love and marriage

Superstar Salman Khan happens to be the most eligible bachelor in B-Town. In fact, the most commonly asked question to him by his fans or media is surely about his marriage. The actor has always tried and managed to dodge this question, but recently to our surprise, he shared his views on love and marriage.

It was during one of his interviews with a leading daily, when he was asked about the concept of marriage. To which he replied, “Now, say if someone comes and asks me something straight up, like this whole marriage shit. They’re really not interested, you know that. They just want to chhapo that marriage thing. That pisses me off. For me, I think marriage is a waste of money!” [sic] (Also Read: Here’s how Salman Khan reacted on his movie ‘Tubelight’ earning mixed reviews)

Further, Salman talked about how he does not believe in love either. He said, “I don’t believe in love at all. I don’t think there’s any reason for the word ‘love’ to exist. The word is ‘need’. It depends on whose need is more. Or who you might need at some point. But she may not need you at all. This can also turn the other way round when you don’t need her sometimes. So, basically, the need has got to be equal at all times. Which may or may not happen.” [sic]

“Then there is companionship, habit – that you’ve been together for so long – emotional connect, or the fact that both of you have flaws but you’re aware of the larger picture, and that you’re happy together. But ‘love’ is, essentially, need,” [sic] added the actor.

Currently, the actor is rumoured to be dating Romanian singer-model Iulia Vantur, after they have been spotted together numerous times. But, both of them have never talked about their relationship status.

Talking about films, Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and his film ‘Tubelight’ has been recently released.
