Salman Khan mourns Irrfan Khan’s death; says, “Big loss to the film industry”

It is a very unfortunate day for Bollywood and the nation, as we lost a very precious actor Irrfan Khan. We have all been shell-shocked along with Irrfan’s lakhs of fans. Along with the rest of Bollywood, actor Salman Khan also mourned Irrfan’s death.

Salman took to his Instagram to share a picture of himself and Irrfan at the red carpet. Irrfan was glowing as he smiled at Salman as they shook hands. The caption read, “Big loss to the film industry, his fans, all of us n specially his family. My heart goes out to his family. May God give them strength. Rest in peace brother u shall always be missed n be in all our hearts..”

The ‘Angrezi Medium’ actor passed away at 53. The actor was admitted to a Mumbai hospital yesterday for a colon infection. The 53- year old was battling cancer since 2018. Along with the rest of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor, Homi Adajania and the rest of the ‘Angrezi Medium’ cast also mourned his death as it was his last film. Irrfan was also absent from ‘Angrezi Medium’ promotions due to his ailment. But, in his last heartfelt message during ‘Angrezi Medium’ when he said, “Wait for me”.
