Salman Khan to team up with Liger director Puri Jagannadh for an action film?

Superstar Salman Khan is busy with his upcoming project Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The movie features Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Dabangg Khan. It also marks the Bollywood debut of Shehnaaz Gill. Besides this, the superstar is also hosting the popular reality show Bigg Boss 16. Rumours abound that Salman Khan will be collaborating with Liger director Puri Jagannadh for his next.

Apparently, Salman Khan has not only heard Puri Jaganadh’s script but also given it the nod verbally. Rumours abound that Salman and Puri’s collaboration is an out-and-out actioner. Formalities are still to be worked out. But Bhai has said agreed in principle, claims a source from Hyderabad. But there has been no official confirmation of the same as yet.

Rumours of Salman Khan and Puri Jagannadh collaborating have been on for a long time now. Not many know that they both acted in megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather‘. The filmmaker played the role of a journalist while Salman Khan appeared in an extended cameo. If the rumours of the two coming together do come together then it will be like a lifeline for the director who has been going through a rough patch since Liger debacle.

Liger featured Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. American boxer Mike Tyson was roped in for a special role in the movie. The movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs. 125 crores but failed to create magic at the box office.

On the work front, Salman Khan has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan co-starring Pooja Hegde. He also has Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif in his kitty. The Dabangg Khan has a cameo in SRK starrer Pathaan too.
