Varun Dhawan and Samay Raina have left the internet laughing with their latest promotional video for Wow, the viral track from Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The actor-comedian duo turned an ordinary gym session into meme-worthy content, and fans cannot get enough of their hilarious banter.

The video, shared by Varun Dhawan on Instagram, features the actor singing Wow while working out at the gym. The energetic track, sung by Harrdy Sandhu and Kiran Bajwa, has already become a social media favourite, with creators and fans using it widely across reels and videos.

However, the highlight of the clip was Samay Raina’s deadpan roasting style. As Varun sang the song enthusiastically, Samay interrupted him and said, “Aise nahi chalega gaana yaar.” Varun instantly played along and replied, “Kyun? Accha mujhe laga chal jati hai yaar.” Samay then added, “Accha gaana banao, apne aap chalega yaar.” Varun went on to add, “S**t yaar, mujhe laga chal hi jaata aise.” And then came Samay’s perfectly timed mic-drop moment: “Wow.”

Varun clearly enjoyed the moment as much as fans did. Sharing the clip online, he captioned it, “What an a**hole wow.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s Fun Banter

The reel also sparked curiosity among fans after many noticed a black patch attached to Varun Dhawan’s chest. While the actor did not explain it directly in the video, Janhvi Kapoor jokingly commented, “Why u put this iron man design on ur chest”. Varun hilariously replied, “it’s when u get acidity from being forced into eating idlis at 6 in morning”.

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with reactions. Many praised the duo’s comic timing and unconventional promotional style. One user wrote, “Roasting ka tarika thoda casual tha”, while another commented, “He’s lowkey correct”. Several others shared laughing emojis and memes inspired by the exchange.

Varun Dhawan Calls Mumbai Rickshaw Wow

This is not the first time Varun has used humour to promote the song. Earlier, the actor shared a video of himself enjoying a rickshaw ride in Mumbai while Wow played in the background. He also posted behind-the-scenes clips from rehearsals for the track.

Speaking about the song earlier, singer Harrdy Sandhu had shared in a statement, “From the first listen, WOW had that spark. It’s high on energy and super addictive the kind of song you don’t just hear, you feel. Recording this with the bunch of amazing creative collaborators was an absolute blast.”

However, on April 29, Varun Dhawan shared a new poster confirming that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai would now release on June 5. This came after Yash posted a detailed note on social media. It revealed that Toxic would no longer arrive on June 4. The film is especially meaningful for Varun as it marks another collaboration with his father, veteran filmmaker David Dhawan. The cast includes Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar.
