After releasing the trailer of the film, the makers of ‘Khandaani Shafakhana‘ have been creating a lot of curiosity for its release. The latest reports state that the Sonakshi Sinha starrer family drama has been dragged in legal trouble by a sexologist who has requested the Delhi High Court for a stay order on the film.

As per an exclusive report on SpotboyE.com, a Delhi based sexologist – Dr. Vijay Abbot – has filed a suit requesting a stay order on Sonakshi Sinha’s film. The report also states that Dr. Abbot has sent a notice to the producer of the film Bhushan Kumar and the director Shilpi Dasgupta. Not just that, Abbot has also written to the Censor Board to not grant any censor certificate to the film – ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’.

The website has also published a letter which dates to July 18th, 2019. It states that Dr. Abbot, who is the son of renowned sexologist Dr. Hakim Hari Kishan Lal, has raised the dispute against unauthorized and illegal use of their  father’s well-reputed trademark – Khandaani Shafakhana.

Coming back to the film, ‘Khandaani Shafakhana‘ also stars Varun Sharma and rapper Badshah in central roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on 26th July, 2019.
