Shah Rukh Khan made his first media appearance to talk about his monstrous release Pathaan at the film’s success meet on Monday. Yash Raj Films had planned an interactive session for the media and fans to celebrate the film’s success. Along with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and director Siddharth Anand were also present at the event. A lot of things made the evening special, but the love Shah Rukh Khan showed towards John Abraham, took the cake.

Shah Rukh praises John Abraham

The badshah was all praise for his co-star in the film. He even called John’s Jim the ‘backbone’ of Pathaan. Using his wit, he also spoke about the infamous white trunks John donned in the film. He also didn’t forget to mention the special ‘pasta’ his on screen nemesis brought on set. But things took a sweeter turn when in between the event, SRK suddenly got up and gave John a kiss on his cheek. Even John was taken by surprise by this action and he just couldn’t stop blushing.

John says Shah Rukh Khan is an emotion

Even John reciprocated to the love by saying that SRK is not just an actor anymore, ‘he is an emotion’. Not only that, while talking about SRK’s action prowess, John recalled the time when King Khan asked him to hit him. He shared, “I said to him you are the national treasure of the country, I can’t hit you. Mujhe darr lag raha tha that if there is some slight contact also, there must be about 100 crore Shah Rukh Khan fans.”

Shah Rukh and Deepika ended the event by making John dance to Jhoome Jo Pathaan and it was indeed a hilarious yet sweet moment. As for Pathaan, the film has been wreaking havoc at the box office. It is inching closer to Rs 300 crores at the Hindi box office, which it will cross today. As for the worldwide collection, it has already crossed Rs 500 crore gross and it is just growing exponentially by the day.
