Vicky Kaushal Receives Sweet, Emotional Birthday Wish From Father Sham Kaushal: “Blessed To Have A Son Like You”

Punjabi munda Vicky Kaushal – who made his fans groove non-stop to Tauba Tauba, turns a year older today. As the ‘Chhaava’ actor celebrates his 38th birthday, his father, veteran action director Sham Kaushal, took to social media and shared a sweet, love-filled note for his elder son. Sham Kaushal Pens Love-Filled Birthday Note For Vicky Kaushal

As Vicky Kaushal turned 38 years, a proud Sham Kaushal took to Instagram and shared a warm note for his ‘puttar’. Along with the note, the veteran action director also shared a candid of him and Vicky sitting comfortably on a couch at home and spending quality time together dressed in casual clothes.

Counting his blessings and showering love on his son, Sham wrote, “Wish u a very Happy Birthday Puttar. May God’s blessings be always with u. Always love, blessings & best wishes. Feeling so happy & blessed to have a son like u. Rab di meher bani rahe…. Jor di jhappi @vickykaushal09.”

This isn’t the first time Sham Kaushal has taken to social media to shower love on Vicky. The veteran action director regularly posts and celebrates his children’s achievements and personal milestones on Instagram. In fact, Sham announced the arrival of Vicky and Katrina Kaif’s baby boy in November last year with a sweet post. He captioned it, “So so happy becoming a Dada… Shukariya Rab Da… God is and has been so kind. Bhagwan ki meherbani aise hi mere bachon pe aur sabse junior Kaushal pe bani rahe.”

Vicky’s Professional Life

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen on the big screen essaying the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji in Chhaava. The film emerged as one of 2025’s highest grossing titles.

He will soon be seen playing a leading part in Love And War. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the upcoming film is said to be a high-stakes romantic drama also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the leads. Leaked behind the scenes pictures reveals Ranbir and Vicky will play Indian Air Force officers. The film, initially set to release on Christmas 2025, has faced several delays. It’s now aiming for a January 2027 release.
