Actor turned reality TV judge Shilpa Shetty Kundra represented India by participating in the fourth season of UK based television reality show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’. In the show, the ‘Life In A Metro’ actress became the victim of a racial slur that was meted out to her by her fellow contestant Jade Goody. Later on, Goody apologised for her comments after she was evicted from the show.

In her recent Instagram post, Shilpa shared her horrible experience of racism at the Sydney airport.  It so happened when one of the employees of the Qantas Airways asked Shetty to get her luggage bag checked into the overweight luggage counter though her duffle bag was not overweight.

The excerpts from the post read, “Subject: #Quantas airways @qantas This should get your attention!” garnered lots of attention on Sunday for her candid comments and nuanced observations about racism and “brown people”.

”WE” are NOT #pushovers and they MUST know that being #callous and #Rude will NOT BE TOLERATED ?✋??. Ps: Please tell me if that bag in the picture is oversized??!! ” added the actress.
