Shilpa Shetty’s statement in husband Raj Kundra’s case: Not aware of what he was up to- Report

Raj Kundra was arrested a couple of months ago in relation to a pornography case. The Property Cell of Mumbai Crime Branch had submitted a 1500-page supplementary charge sheet before Esplanade Court on Wednesday in relation to the case. The charge sheet as per the Mumbai Police has Raj Kundra’s wife Shilpa Shetty’s statement as well as 42 witnesses. As per a report by The Indian Express, Shilpa Shetty has said in her statement that she is not sure what her husband was up to. Shilpa also said that she has resigned from the company due to personal reasons.

The report quotes Shilpa told the Mumbai Police, “Kundra started Viaan Industries Limited in 2015 and I was one of the directors till 2020 when I resigned due to personal reasons.”

The actress further added, “I am not aware about the Hotshots or Bollyfame apps. I was too busy with my own work and hence, not aware about what Kundra was up to” The report further stated that the charge sheet said that Kundra was using his Mumbai office of Viaan Industries to run the porn racket.

So far, 11 people have been arrested by the Mumbai Police who were busted during a raid at a bungalow in Madh Island in February this year.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty was recently spotted visiting the Vaishno Devi temple. The actress’ video has been going viral all over the internet. Speaking with the reporters, the actress was heard saying, “I am very happy to be here. It was due to the goddesses’ call that I came all the way to pay obeisance to her.”
