Shilpa Shetty recently celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with her family. She even shared blissful family photos with her son Viaan and daughter Samisha, sitting in front of Lord Ganesha. After bidding farewell to Bappa, Shilpa Shetty jetted off to Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. The actress left the city and was spotted on the same day that the Mumbai Police’s crime branch filed a supplementary chargesheet against her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in the pornography-related case. Raj Kundra was arrested two months before. 

The Hungama 2 actress arrived at Katra, the base camp of the cave shrine on Wednesday. As per reports in PTI, soon after her arrival at the base camp, Shilpa Shetty undertook the journey to the shrine on a horse, the police officials revealed. Shilpa also chanted ‘Jai Mata Di’ during her journey to the shrine. ANI reported pictures of the actress from the journey.

Speaking with the reporters, Shilpa Shetty revealed she is very happy to have visited Vaishno Devi shrine. She said, “I am very happy to be here. It was due to the goddesses’ call that I came all the way to pay obeisance to her.

Earlier on Wednesday, the actress was clicked at the Mumbai airport. A video of her was shared by a paparazzo. The video captured Shilpa engaging in a conversation with the paps stationed at the airport. She was reportedly accompanied by her sister-like friend, Akansha, to Vaishno Devi.

Shilpa Shetty had taken time off in the immediate aftermath of Raj Kundra’s arrest in July. She later resumed work and appeared as one of the judges on the dance reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. After Kundra’s arrest, Shilpa had issued an official statement as well and said she would prefer to not publicly comment on the case.
