Ever since the news of actress Sonali Bendre being diagnosed with cancer broke, everyone, right from her family, friends to her fans and followers, have been praying for her speedy recovery.

The actress who is getting her cancer treated in New York currently, had started a digital book club on Facebook last year. But owing to her medical condition she wasn’t able to take care of her book club. However, Sonali’s best friends Dia Mirza, Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Joshi are making sure of running her book club smoothly while she is away.

Moved by her friend’s sweet gesture, Sonali took to her Instagram and posted a heartfelt thank you note for her BFFs. The actress wrote, “I’ve said it before and Iā€™ll say it again… “I have the best friends in the world!” Thank you so muchĀ @gayatrioberoi,Ā @suzkrĀ andĀ @diamirzaofficialĀ for coming together to celebrate Friendship Day withĀ #SBC… I had so much fun watching this… So glad some of my influence has rubbed off on you hahaha Special thank you toĀ @janiceseq85Ā for ensuring a smooth and lively conversation. Sonali, who debuted as an author with ‘The Modern Gurukul: My Experiments With Parenting’ in 2015, has organised various interactive sessions between authors and readers through her book club. An avid reader, Sonali just couldn’tĀ be happier with the fact that her best friends are running her book club in her absence.
