Sussanne Khan came out in support of Aryan Khan. The designer called Aryan’s arrest a ‘witch hunt’ and said he is a good kid. Sussanne reacted to an Instagram post made by columnist Shobhaa De. Sussanne Khan took to the comments section of the post and expressed her thoughts on Aryan Khan’s arrest. Aryan is currently in the custody of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). He was remanded to NCB custody till October 7, after his arrest in the cruise drug seizure case.

Sussanne responded to a post made by Shobhaa De about the incident being a wake-up call for parents. De shared the article reported by NDTV and in the caption, she wrote, “Big One”, agreeing to the headline. However, Sussanne dismissed the post.

Sussanne Khan wrote, “I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time, this situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement that some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood. It’s sad n unfair as he is a good kid. I stand by Gauri n Shahrukh. (sic)

She said she stands by Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, amid the arrest of Aryan Khan in connection to the drug seizure case. Sussanne said its “sad and unfair”. She said Aryan was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Reacting to the post, many other followers of Shobhaa De came out in support of Aryan. There were others who even disagreed. The followers reacting to the post were divided.

Apart from Sussanne Khan, Salman Khan visited SRK’s Mannat after Aryan’s arrest. Pooja Bhatt and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi also came out in support of the family.

Aryan Khan was detained on Saturday night, October 2, after the NCB sleuths busted an alleged rave party, on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai. He was arrested on Sunday and sent to NCB custody till October 7, the next day.
