Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has given rise to many theories. While some are claiming he was battling depression, some say that there were no signs of his mental health issues. Also, Bollywood got divided into all the theories surrounding Sushant’s death.

In an interview with India Today, Naseeruddin Shah called Sushant’s death coverage ‘sickening’ and said that the investigation should be left to the authorities. Swara agreed and said, “I absolutely agree with Naseer Sir. In fact, I have been saying this from many days. You can see it on my social media, that it’s absolutely sickening to see how social media and many media houses have started their conspiracy theories and have been fanning lies to the public.”

She continued, “Why is it so difficult for people to accept that he may have been depressed? I read an article where someone said that he didn’t look depressed, what theory is that? How can someone ‘look’ it?” She added, “Just because someone is famous, doesn’t mean things can’t be wrong. We as a society need to give more importance to mental health.”

Also, today Swara tweeted, “Dear media houses, websites & other so-called news disseminating portals. Make sure that in your सनसनीख़ेज़ headlines u mention the words ‘mental health’.. I said -just because someone is famous doesn’t mean something wrong cannot happen with their mental health! MENTAL HEALTH(sic)”.
