Taare Zameen Par actor Darsheel Safary wishes to work with Aamir Khan again: Want to show him what I have become, through his guidance

Darsheel Safary portrayed the role of a young kid with dyslexia in Aamir Khan’s film Taare Zameen Par. The film has stood to be a memorable one and holds a special place in our hearts. Delivering a memorable performance in Taare Zameen Par, netizens wonder why has he not teamed up with Aamir Khan yet again. Well now, Darsheel has opened up about the same in a recent interview and has also spoken up about grabbing opportunities through his hard work.

Darsheel Safary expresses eagerness to work with Aamir Khan

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, the 26-year-old actor Darsheel Safary addressed why he did not work with Aamir Khan post his debut project. He said, “I am very shy and get awkward about all these things. I can’t tell you how many times I have been told, ‘Are you in touch with Aamir uncle? Drop him a text, call him, this and that.’ But I feel shy doing this. I don’t know how to put it in words. It should always happen organically.”

Furthermore, he also said, “In fact, after Taare Zameen Par, almost every project that I have done, some way or the other, it has been communicated to Aamir that this is the project that I am working on. It is mostly the case, just to get his blessings.” 

Post this, Darsheel also expressed the desire to work with Aamir Khan. During the interview, he said, “I really want to show him what I have become, through his guidance.”

He is all set to star on the silver screen in Vinay Bharjdwaj’s Hukus Bukus. Apart from this, he is also gearing up for an action-packed entertainer in Kashmir – Enigma of Paradise.
