Varun Dhawan has a ‘bromantic’ banter with Dwayne Johnson ahead of the release of Black Adam

Varun Dhawan has always been quite vocal about his admiration for his hero and idol Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock. He has fan boyed over him multiple times and now that the release of Dwayne’s Black Adam is nearing, the actor is beyond excited to see his hero back on the big screen. He shared that excitement with his fans on social media and it eventually turned into a sweet ‘bromantic’ banter between Dwayne and him.

Taking to Twitter, Varun Dhawan reshared a tweet by Dwayne in which he thanked India for all the love he has received and the media interactions he has had for the film. As he shared that tweet, Varun wrote, “Let’s goo… finally gonna get to see my hero back on big screen @TheRock #BlackAdam (sic)”.

Surprising both Varun as well as the audience, Dwayne gave a heartfelt reply to this sweet message by Varun. He wrote, “Thank you my brotha! Can’t wait for you to see the film. 15 long years of fighting to get this made. Well worth the wait. Let me know what you think and keep kickin ass (sic)”.

An ecstatic Varun retorted to this gesture by his hero, as he wrote back to Dwayne, “DJ & VD – one day 25 years in the making……. Finally………… (sic)”. Seeing Varun get a reply from his hero who he has been worshipping for the better part of his life is just too sweet to see.
