Govinda Naam Mera movie starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar was released on December 16 on the OTT platform, Disney+ Hotstar. The movie seemed to have garnered immense love and appreciation from the fans as it becomes Ormax’s TOP OTT originals of the week. That’s right. As per Ormax media which keeps a tab on movie viewerships, Govinda Naam Mera has taken the top spot in the list.

Having said that, Govinda Naam Mera becomes people’s favourite entertainer. Moreover, the Shashank Khaitan directorial venture has clocked in 9.2 million views on the OTT platform which makes it a digital hit. The audiences keep it soaring at #1 for a week. According to Film Companion, Vicky Kaushal starrer beats Kartik Aaryan starrer Freddy and Randeep Honda starrer CAT who are at number 4 and number 5 positions respectively. 

Well, it is quite certain that people are loving this festive season, ending 2022 with a BANG!

Govinda Naam Mera is a story about Govinda, (Vicky Kaushal) a struggling choreographer who is stuck between his hotty wife, Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar) and naughty girlfriend, Suku (Kiara Advani), not just in terms of love, but also on various other aspects. The murder mystery unfolds in a series of events that includes everything from the court, police station, drugs and more.

Bollywood Bubble gave Govinda Naam Mera 3 stars. A part of the review read, “This Shashank Khaitan directorial is a one-time watch. The ensemble cast and their performances make it bearable. But, a big chunk of the 2 hours 11 minutes run time kills you! The first half leaves you with a sinking feeling, just for an unexpected and mind-boggling climax. By the end of the film, all you gotta do is brace yourselves as the plot thickens and the mystery unfolds!
