Noted music director and singer Vishal Dadlani is a very blunt and straightforward person. The seasoned composer is not afraid to talk about political issues and is not a very diplomatic person by Bollywood standards. Vishal Dadlani has now taken on India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per the news agency IANS, the celebrated composer Vishal Dadlani has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of lying for claiming that rapists are “hanged within three days, seven days, 11 days and a month” under his administration. PM Modi was addressing a conclave in Gujarat’s Surat on Wednesday. Dadlani, who often criticises the Modi-led BJP, called it a ‘lie’. PM Modi is aggressively touring the country ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

“Narendra Modiji, we know elections are near but don’t turn the pain of Indian women and girls into propaganda,” he added.

Vishal Dadlani was earlier associated with Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and had composed a theme song for the party during the Delhi assembly elections in 2015. Dadlani, unlike his colleagues from the Hindi film industry, does not shy away from to talk about relevant issues regarding the country.

Bollywood industry’s bigwigs in recent past had met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi to discuss a range of issues. Stay tuned to Bollywood Bubble for all the latest news and updates.
