Vivek Oberoi under ‘Income Tax’ radar

Actor Vivek Oberoi who is known more for his controversies is riding high on the success wave of his movie ‘Grand Masti’ and is eagerly awaiting the release of his next ‘Krrish 3’.The actor is at present summoned by the Income Tax department for not having paid service tax to the tune of Rs 40 lakh.

As per sources. Income department team visited the actor’s residence in Juhu and found that he was charging service tax from his producers without paying the same to the government. Vivek has been given time till the end of the month to clear all dues.

Vivek clarified his stance,”There is no question of evasion of any sort. We Oberois have always taken pride in paying our taxes. I am registered with the department and my CA is doing his job.
