Shahid Kapoor's next film announced

Recently, actor Shahid Kapoor’s first look from his upcoming film ‘Padmavati’ was unveiled by the makers, and his fans are going gaga over the same. And today, there’s one more good news to make their day. Many would be aware that the actor has wrapped up his work on ‘Padmavati’. Next, everyone was waiting to know about his next project. And today, there is a confirmation on the same.

Shahid will be starring in a project helmed by Shree Narayan Singh of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ fame.

The movie is yet untitled and is being produced by T-Series and KriArj Entertainment. Teaming up with Shahid for the first time, director Shree Narayan Singh said in his statement, “With films like ‘Kaminey’, ‘Jab We Met’, ‘Haider’ and ‘Udta Punjab’, Shahid Kapoor has definitely proved his mettle as an actor. Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment, who had earlier produced ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ as well, has said in her statement, “We really enjoyed making ‘Toilet…’ together earlier and know that Shree Narayan Singh’s sensibilities as a filmmaker has given us the confidence that we have another winner on our hands.” [sic]

Further, Prernaa Arora spoke about her excitement of collaborating with Shahid Kapoor for the first time as well.

“We are so excited to be collaborating with him on this one as the role is tailor-made for someone with his talent and calibre. Together, Shahid and Shree, will form a brilliant combo, a winner for us, for sure,” added Arora. [sic]

Bhushan Kumar of T-Series also said about this collaboration. “Shree Narayan Singh is a director who balances strong message driven film with entertainment by making it commercially viable. And Shahid Kapoor is an actor par excellence. He is always the best version of himself when he enthralls us with the various roles he chooses to play on screen,” [sic] said the T-Series honcho.
