Ever since the launch of the motion poster and the trailer, the movie ‘Yeh Ha India’ has been creating a lot of buzz for its theme on patriotism. Now, the makers have another reason to rejoice as the movie has been chosen as an official entry to the prestigious FOG Film Festival. This will be followed by the movie’s release in the US on August 11, 2017 while in India, the movie has been postponed from August 4 to August 18, 2017. For those uninitiated, the movie has also made India proud by making it to the Cannes Film Festival.

‘Yeh Hai India’ is the story of a 26-year-old NRI guy, who comes to India with preconceived notions about the country, but his perception changes and he takes it upon himself to free the country from corruption and other evils. The movie is conceptualised and directed by Lom Harsh and stars Gavie Chahal, Deana Uppal, Mohan Agashe and Mohan Joshi in lead roles. Director Lom Harsh expressed his happiness over its selection at the FOG Film Festival. He said, “We are extremely proud to win an official selection at the prestigious FOG film Festival. Also now our India release date is just after the Independence Day. We hope that the whole country will be proud of this movie as we are.”

The producer Sandeep Choudhary says, “It is an honour for us to be selected at the FOG Film Festival. The world premiere of the movie is happening on August 11 followed by an India release. We are confident the movie will win hearts overseas as well as in India.” Gavie Chahal, the actor of the movie added, “It has been a great journey to be associated with Yeh Hai India. I have got to play a demanding role that only helped me push my envelope as an actor but made me a better human and a better citizen. I am extremely proud that the movie is getting the recognition that it deserves.”

The movie is produced by Sandeep Chaudhary under the banner of DLB Films Pvt Ltd. and will be releasing on August 18, 2017.
