This week, two Bollywood movies clashed at the box office and they were Aditya Roy Kapur starrer Rashtra Kavach Om and the other one is R Madhavan starrer Rocketry – The Nambi Effect. Unfortunately, both the films have given a below-par excellence performance at the box office as we witnessed a low start on day 1. Check out Om and Rocketry box office collections here.

Speaking about Aditya starrer Om, the film minted Rs 1.51 crores on day 1. The film didn’t garner a good response and we wonder how the film will perform at the first weekend. On the other hand, the film which is based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan has minted only Rs 70 lakhs. Since fans seemed to have liked the film, it is said that the biopic might mint good footfalls in the coming days with good word of mouth.

Bollywood Bubble gave the Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi starrer Om 2 stars. An excerpt of the review read, “Whenever the warriors head for a battle, they cry ‘Har Har Mahadev’ well, you need to cry ‘Jai Bhavani’ before watching Rashtra Kavach Om movie. The only good thing about the movie is to watch Aditya Roy Kapur who impresses you with his act and amazes you with his killer body.

Whereas R Madhavan starrer Rocketry got 3 stars. A part of the review read, “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect grips you in the first half but loses the plot and the essence of the film in the second half. It is an open-ended movie with no closure. It leaves you with so many questions and no answers which seems quite odd.
