Avatar-The Way of Water is doing well at the box office. The James Cameron directorial Avatar-The Way of Water has collected good amount on Day 3 at the box office. The film saw decent growth on the second day. However, the business on Sunday was huge as compared to day 1 and day 2. Avatar-The Way of Water scored a superb first weekend as it collected over Rs 127.50 crore.

According to a BoxOffice India report, there were very good gains in Nizam/Andhra and Tamil Nadu. As compared to before, the business on Sunday went up to 15% which is good for the film. Avatar-The Way of Water was released worldwide on Friday, December 16.

BoxOffice India quoted, “The business on Sunday was huge as mass belts in Hindi circuits jumped very well and there were very good gains in Nizam/Andhra and Tamil Nadu. The business on Sunday went up 15% which is very good for a Hollywood film especially with collections at these high levels.” The report further added that normally ‘it’s difficult for Hollywood films to make such gains on Sunday’.

Given the Day 3 collections, the film is expected to do better in the upcoming days. According to the report, Avatar: The Way of Water may become a blockbuster if it continues to run better at the box office.

Friday: 40,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday: 40,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday: 47,00,00,000 apprx

Total: 1,27,50,00,000 apprx

Avatar: The Way of Water stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet among others. The team has delivered terrific performance in the film. On the other hand, Bollywood Bubble gave 4 stars to the film.
