‘Housefull 4’ Box Office Report: Akshay Kumar starrer mints a healthy number on Day 1

Farhad Samji’s directorial ‘Housefull 4’ has created a lot of buzz much before its release. The makers left no stone unturned to promote the movie. But alas! the movie couldn’t leave up to the expectations of the critics as well the audience. In the name of comedy, they seemed to have sold trash. But at the ticket windows, it had a healthy collection.

The team of ‘Housefull 4’ has revealed the collection of Day 1. The movie has minted Rs 19.08 crore at the box office.

Owing to the weekend and Diwali, the collection may go up but if the audiences go by the reviews, they might not want to waste money on it. Let’s wait and watch how it performs at the ticket windows in the coming days.

‘Housefull 4’ got a negative review from our critic Prateek Sur. He wrote, “Talking of the comedy this time, it’s not four times the fun the original ‘Housefull’ was. Sure there are some PJs that are great and will incite laughter, but that’s simply not enough to sustain throughout the duration of the film.”

The movie also has Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda, Chunky Panday, Rana Daggubati, Ranjeet, Sharad Kelkar, Johnny Lever, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui among others.
