Bhoomi Newton Haseena parkar fifth day collection

It all started with ‘Bhoomi’ taking the lead at the box office and ‘Haseena Parkar’ following it. The first day collection of ‘Newton’ was dismal and we had no expectations from the film. But, the positive reviews and the news of it being selected for Oscars changed the whole equation, and brought this Rajkummar Rao-starrer back in game.

From day two, ‘Newton’ took the lead and collected a very good amount at the box office. Even on weekdays, the film is doing very well, commercially. On Tuesday, the movie collected Rs 1.25 crore approx. taking the five-day total to Rs 9.45 crore which is excellent for a small-budget movie. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Bhoomi’ and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Haseena Parkar’ have fallen flat on the weekdays. The former collected Rs 85 lakh on Tuesday which takes the total collection to Rs 8.46 crore, and the latter collected Rs 60 lakh on its fifth day, taking the total to Rs 5.47 crore. Both the films are a big flop at the box office.

While ‘Haseena Parkar’ was never expected to take a flying start, it is surprising that Sanjay Dutt’s comeback film ‘Bhoomi’ has received such a dull response, given the fans were eagerly awaiting baba back on the big screen.
