Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna continues to do well at the box office. The film was released on last Friday and has so far maintained good business. Pushpa that is riding high on positive reviews from critics and fans got a big opening at the box office on the first day. Since then, the Allu Arjun starrer has continued to rule the box office, despite other releases. Pushpa had passed the first Monday test and has shown an extraordinary performance on the second Monday as well.

A Box Office India report said that Pushpa (Hindi) was extraordinary on the second Monday. The report stated that the collections of the film were higher than the second Friday. The film raked a collection of Rs 2.75 crore nett at the box office on the second Monday, taking the overall total to Rs 39.91 crore nett approx.

The report said, “Pushpa (Hindi) was extraordinary on its second Monday as collections were higher than the second Friday. The film is simply doing remarkable business in Maharahtra, CP Berar and Gujarat and could go anywhere in these areas. The other places have low collections but are holding very well as even places like Delhi / UP show similar collections to Friday.

As per the report, Pushpa has now touched the 40 crore nett mark and with the second week business of the film, it is likely to go to around 20 crore nett. The report stated that both 83 and Spider-Man: No Way Home saw a drop on Monday while the Allu Arjun film saw a rise in collections.

Meanwhile, Pushpa is directed by Sukumar and was released on December 17. The film also featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu in a special song.
