Global star Priyanka Chopra has come a long way since her Bollywood debut. The Miss World had debuted in Bollywood in 2003 with Akshay Kumar starrer Andaz. Today the stunning beauty is one of the most popular actresses, not just in Bollywood but in Hollywood as well. But in her initial days in the world of entertainment she had to face several hurdles. One of them being offered a negative role in Aitraaz.

Priyanka Chopra was offred a negative role in Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer Aitraaz. The offer had left the beauty in tears.

In a chat with Siddharth Kanan, Andaaz producer Suneel Darshan recalled when Priyanka Chopra came to him and cried about being offered a vamp’s role in Abbas Mastan’s Aitraaz.

Suneel Darshan said, Priyanka came to him upset and informed him about being offered a vamp’s role. She went home and cried a lot and went to sleep. I told her after she woke up she should come and meet him in his office.

Sunil added, “She was here and I pressed on her the importance of her doing the role. I thought I drilled it into her head and yes it was wonderful for them to be in Aitraaz“.

The rest as they say is history, Priyanka Chopra was phenomenal in Aitraaz and to date, her seductress Avtar is one of her finest performances etched in the minds of her fans.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be seen in Russo Brothers Citadel. She also has It’s All Coming Back to Me and Jee Le Zara co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
