Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ braces for 50 crore mark at the box office

Akshay Kumar‘s recently released film ‘Rustom’, helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai, and produced under the banner of Zee Studios, has managed to do exceptionally well at the box office. The film that opened to heart-warming reviews from the critics gathered the same kind of love from the audience and the reflection of the same could be seen on the box office collections. Within three days, the film has managed to hit the mark of Rs 49 crore mark at the box office. Just one more day and it will definitely cross the half century, i.e., the Rs 50 crore mark.

According to the statistics, ‘Rustom’ has so far minted Rs 49,75,00,000 over the weekend and as it’s a national holiday today, the numbers are expected to flourish tremendously. On the contrary, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is doing decent at the box office. Over the weekend this period drama film helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker managed to rake in Rs 30,25,00,000 only, which is significantly less than that of ‘Rustom’.

Well, with each passing day this clash of titans at the box office is getting interesting. Who emerges victorious, would be a nice sight to watch.
