The future of this film was expected to be decided by the Monday performance. However, Monday proved to be quite challenging for Varun’s film. ‘Hai Jawan To Ishq Hona Hai’ showed signs of slowing down by the fourth day.

Over the weekend, the film collected around Rs 27.25 crore net, which is considered underwhelming even by estimates. The Monday box office performance was seen as a crucial indicator of the film’s future. According to Sacnilk, on Monday, the film earned approximately Rs 3.50 crore net. It had opened with a Rs 7.50 crore collection on Friday, Rs 7.25 Cr on Saturday, and Rs 9 Cr on Sunday.

Day-Wis Breakdown

Compared to the opening day, Monday’s collections saw a decline of over 50%, which is normal. However, relative to the expectations from a mainstream Bollywood masala film, Varun’s film performed slightly weaker. Reports suggest that the budget of ‘Hai Jawan To Ishq Hona Hai’ is estimated to be under 60 crore rupees, so it is likely to recover its costs from the box office.
