Bandar Box Office Day 2: Bobby Deol Starrer Witnesses Minimal Growth; Earns More Than Opening Day

Anurag Kashyap’s gritty crime thriller starring Bobby Deol was released in cinemas on Friday. The film received critical acclaim, with many praising Bobby’s performance and considering it one of Anurag’s best works in recent years. However, this praise has not yet translated into strong box office numbers. After a disappointing opening, the film showed some signs of improvement on its second day. On Day 2, Bandar collected a net of Rs 0.95 crore across 1,257 shows. This brings the total India gross to Rs 1.74 crore and the total India net to Rs 1.45 crore. Notably, the film has yet to cross the Rs 1 crore mark in a single day. The opening day collection was Rs 50 lakhs, indicating a slow start but a slight uptick on the second day.

Day-Wise Breakdown

The film faced stiff competition at the box office from several new releases this week. These included Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, the Hollywood horror film Obsession, and Telugu star Ram Charan’s Peddi.
