Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Day 6: Ranveer Singh’s Espionage Thriller Beats Animal, Pathaan; To Cross Rs 600 Cr Mark Today

Ever since the film released on Thursday, March 19 (with paid previews in certain Indian cities last Wednesday) Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar The Revenge has impressed the audience. Ranveer Singh’s spy action thriller has not only taken over social media but is also dominating the box office and dethroning several title as it moves to the top of the list.

As per a recent box office report, Dhurandhar 2 – that sees Jaskirat Singh Rangi transform into Hamza Ali Mazari and infiltrates and take down the terrorist network in Pakistan, has beat the lifetime Hindi collection of film’s like Animal and Pathaan with nett collection of around Rs 575 crores in India. As reported by trade website Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 saw a dip in collection on its first Tuesday, amassing a net of Rs 56.60 crore across 20,412 shows in the country. Coupling this collection with the film’s previous earnings, the film’s total India net collections now amounts to an impressive Rs 575.72 crore so far.

With this impressive income, the Ranveer Singh-led spy action thriller has beat the Hindi lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. It current occupies the 5th place in the Top 10 Highest Grossing Hindi Films list. If the Aditya Dhar written, directed and produced film earns even Rs 55 crores in India today, it will climb up the chart to the No 3 spot.
