Jawan Day 11 worldwide box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan starrer set to crush Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar, collects over Rs 850 crores

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest offering Jawan has emerged as a true box office juggernaut. In less than a week, the mass actioner shattered several records and continues to do so. What makes the achievement even more remarkable is that the film has not only broken records in its home market but has also made waves in international markets.

The action-entertainer created history by booking the biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema with 129.6 Cr. gross worldwide. After ranking on Number 2 globally in less than 5 days, the film has now emerged among top 5 highest grossers of all time globally.

In just 11 days, the film earned more than Rs 850 crores. Looking at this kind of response, the flick is expected to surpass Aamir Khan starrer PK’s lifetime collection. With this, Shah Rukh Khan has become the first and the only Indian artiste to score two $100+ million grossers in a single year. His January release Pathaan had crossed the benchmark.

About Jawan

The action entertainer directed by Atlee, was released on September 7. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role with Nayanthara playing the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi cast as the antagonist. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make memorable special appearances, while Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra play pivotal roles.
