JugJugg Jeeyo box office: Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani starrer crosses yet another milestone

Raj Mehta’s family drama JugJugg Jeeyo, featuring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli was one of the most-awaited releases of the year when it opened on June 24. The film lived up to the expectations on its release and even the audiences accepted it with open arms. JugJugg Jeeyo has been crossing many milestones on the box office everyday and today was no different.

This morning the makers of JugJugg Jeeyo shared the news of the film touching another landmark. After crossing the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide gross box office collection last week, this weekend the film crossed the figure of Rs 130 crore. The overall performances of Hindi films had been affected ever since theatres reopened after the pandemic, but with these figures, JugJugg Jeeyo has proved that a good film will always find its audience.

While globally the film has crossed this giant figure, nationwide too, it has been standing strong even after two weeks of release. This gone weekend, the film faced competition from the Hollywood giant, Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale-starrer Thor: Love And Thunder, and Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Haafiz, but JugJugg Jeeyo held its ground. With the Sunday collection, the film’s Indian box-office figure is now nearing Rs 80 crore.
