About L2: Empuraan
Despite the controversy surrounding certain references to the 2002 Gujarat riots, Empuraan has been performing exceptionally well. The film was written by Murali Gopy and produced by Aashirvad Cinemas. It is Prithviraj’s third directorial venture with Mohanlal. It comes after the films Lucifer and Bro Daddy. Additionally, Empuraan has also made history as the first Malayalam film to ever be released in IMAX. This further solidifies its position as a landmark film in Malayalam cinema.
