In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Amit Mishra extends his support to Jasleen Royal after she faced backlash at the Coldplay India Concert.

Amit Mishra On Jasleen Royal’s Coldplay Controversy

When speaking about autotune today, Amit Mishra took the example of Jasleen Royal’s Coldplay controversy and said, “Abhi beech mein main Jasleen ji ki baat karta hoon, ek show tha jisme Jasleen ji live perform kar rahi thi. Sabko pata hai us show ke baare mein. Lekin ek insaan jo stage pe hota hai, uske andar bhi ek human hota hai. Woh bhi nervous hota hoga. It was a huge show.”

Continuing, the artist said, “Agar ek us stage pe aata hai jahan woh sikh raha hai, toh usko bilkul pareshaan karne ki jagah yeh kehna zyada theek hota ki shayad unko monitoring achi nahi mil rahi thi. Ya toh unka gaana itna popular hai ki audience bhi saath ga rahi thi, aur us wajah se in-ear monitors ke through cut-through sound un tak pahunch raha tha.”

Talking about how people have been commenting, Amit said, “Aur aapne jis tarike se bola, aap shayad musicians ko samajh pa rahe honge ki audience jab saath mein gaati hai. Toh sometimes in-ear monitors mein leakage hoti hai. Yeh ek technical aspect hai. Us leakage ki wajah se shayad woh apni voice nahi sun pa rahi thi. Ya toh unhe proper pads nahi mil rahe the, ya jo stage monitors hote hain, woh sahi kaam nahi kar rahe the. Kyunki jab aap live performance karte ho, toh bohot saare technical aspects hoti hain jo matter karte hain.”

Concluding Mishra said, “Toh main kisi ko bacha nahi raha hoon, na hi kisi ki galtiyan chhupane ki koshish kar raha hoon. Main kabhi apni life mein aisa nahi kar sakta. Mujhe lagta hai ki shayad jab main 60-70 ki age mein ga raha hoon, toh meri koshish yahi hogi ki main sur mein gaun. Jaisa aapne bola, gaane ka feel ek game-changer hota hai. Matlab har insaan ek engineer ki tarah nahi soch sakta. Agar har cheez itni perfect hoti, toh ek gaana turant record kar ke bina mix-master kiye hi release ho jaata. Singer ne record kiya aur bas, sab perfect ho gaya—aise nahi hota. Puri team milke kaam karti hai. Aur thoda humanly bhi sochna chahiye. Kisi ko ‘besura’ kehne se pehle samajhna chahiye ki besura hona kya hota hai.”
