EXCLUSIVE: Ankit Gupta Opens Up About Spiritual Journey And Quest To Visit All 12 Jyotirlingas; Reveals His Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 Plans

Ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi next week, Ankit Gupta opened up on his spiritual journey of visiting all 12 Jyotirlinga this year, and out of which he has visited 5 so far. The actor is best known for Sadda Haq, Udaariyaan, and Junooniyatt.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Ankit shared his plans for Ganesh Chaturthi this year. He recalled how his journey to visit all the Jyotirlingas began. Scroll down to read more.

When asked about his excitement for Ganesh Puja, Ankit Gupta said, “Main Bappa se actually bahut close hoon, Bappa ke papa se bhi bahut close hoon. Abhi unke saath mere closeness ke bahut charche ho rahe hai.”

Talking about his recent Mahakaal darshan, the actor continued, “It’s like kuch bhi planned nahi hai, ekdum all of a sudden yeh yatra, yeh journey mere apne aap se shuru hogai thi. Main June mein apne kisi dost ke saath baitha tha, and I was telling, ‘Ki yaar maine apni life mein kabhi Jyotirlinga nahi dekhi hai.’ And you won’t believe that within a week, I got a call from a friend, Abhishek (Kumar). He said, ‘Bhai main family ke saath Trimbakeshwar jaa raha hoon, aap chalo mere saath’.”

He added, “And woh jab main peheli baar Trimbakeshwar gaya, wahan jaake mujhe jo feel hua na; jo sukoon, peace mila mujhe. I don’t know usi waqt mere dimaag mein kuch aaya ki mujhe 12 ke 12 Jyotirlinga karne hai. Abhi wohi journey chal rahi hau, abhi do hi mahine huye hai, and I have done like 5. Kuch plan nahi hota hai, suddenly kahi se bulawa aajata hai aur bahut mazaa aaraha hai.”

The actor continued, “Toh bas yeh journey bas abhi chalu huye hai aur hopefully jo surrender ke level tak bhi pahunch jaaye.”

Ankit Gupta On His Plans For Ganesh Chaturthi

Speaking about his plans for Ganesh Chaturthi, he answered, “Mujhe naa inn cheezon mein bahut mazaa aata hai, jab bhi koi festival aate hai gharpe, kuch naaye taiyaari karni padhti hai, kuch mithaai banani hoti hain, ghar sajaana hota hai toh mujhe actually bahut mazaa aata hai. Although mujhe kuch aata nahi hai mujhe batado toh karne mein bada mazaa aata hai.”
