EXCLUSIVE: Anupamaa’s ‘Pari’ Ishita Dixit Reveals Her Birthday Plans, Special Rituals; Says, “I Don’t Like Grand Celebration”

Ishita Dixit is currently a household name thanks to her role as Pari in the hit television show Anupamaa. While her character on screen is constantly dealing with a lot of drama, Ishita’s real life is much calmer and grounded. As Ishita is celebrating her birthday, she revealed her celebration plans that might surprise those who expect a TV star to organise a huge and expensive party.

Ishita Dixit Reveals Her Birthday Plans

Instead of looking for the spotlight on her big day, Ishita prefers to step away from the cameras. She explained that she really likes to keep things simple and close to her heart. “Usually, I really like to celebrate my birthday with my family and very close friends. I prefer a very intimate, small gathering. I don’t like a grand celebration or anything like that. First of all, I go to the temple. We usually cut the cake and then go for dinner. My whole family and best friend have come to Mumbai from Indore for my birthday. So, for me, that is most important,” she said.

In an industry that changes so fast, Ishita has one specific birthday ritual that she refuses to break. Talking about this habit, she explained, “There is one ritual, and that is going to the temple to offer prasad to the god. I eat something only after that. I follow this ritual every year, and this hasn’t changed for many years. So yes, this has been a special part of my birthday.”

For Ishita, going to the temple before she eats anything on her birthday is something she’s naturally followed for many years. To her, it simply feels like the right way to begin the day, with a quiet prayer and a sense of gratitude instead of jumping straight into celebrations. Even as Ishita Dixit is winning hearts as Pari in Anupamaa, she hasn’t really changed the way she approaches personal moments like birthdays. Success, for her, hasn’t really shifted those basic habits or the way she stays connected to her roots.
