EXCLUSIVE: Manoj Bajpayee reveals if he regrets getting recognition in Bollywood late: For some talented actors it does not even happen

Manoj Bajpayee made his feature film debut with a one-minute role in Drohkaal. He went on to become one of the celebrated actors of Indian Cinema after stint in films like Satya, Kaun?, and Shool among others. However, it was The Family man that got him recognition. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, the actor revealed if her regrets being discovered in Bollywood late.

Talking about if he regrets getting the desired recognition late in his career, Manoj said, “Iske baare mein soch nahi sakte. Mere case mein toh chaliye, 5-7 saal se ho raha hai, lekin kaiyo ke case me, jo ki bade talented log hai hota hi nahi hai. (You can’t really think about it. In my case, it atleast happened in 5 to 7 years, but unfortunately for some talented actors it does not even happen). So thank your luck and just keep working hard and feel happy that you are getting it. That’s the only feeling I have. Actually, there’s nothing to regret.”

Sharing his mantra of having a positive attitude, the Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai actor shared, “Things are happening for me now, for some people it happened 20 years back. But that’s all right. Like my spiritual guru says, ‘Pehle mil jata toh bhudapa kharab ho jata, aur jawani me nahi mila toh bhudapa acha chala jayega.’ So there are two ways to look at things.”

On the work front, the actor is currently gearing up for Joram. He will next be seen in Bhaiyya Ji. With this project, he will also marks his debut as producer. In addition, he is also part of the movie Despatch, directed by Kanu Behl.
