EXCLUSIVE: Pulkit Samrat Reveals His Friendship With Varun Sharma Has Only Grown Since Fukrey; Says, “Bahut Irritate Karta Hai But…”

Pulkit Samrat And Varun Sharma’s Friendship

Speaking about their long professional association, Varun Sharma first reflected on how their journey together began and continues to this day. He shared, “Fukrey ki teeno jo franchise hai 1st, 2nd, 3rd, usme Pulkit aur main saath mein the aur Vipul Vig Ji jinhone woh teeno likhi hai, unhone ne hi Rahu Ketu bhi likhi hai.” The familiarity of working with the same creative minds, he hinted, adds a sense of comfort and continuity to their collaborations.

When asked how their friendship has changed from the Fukrey days to now, Pulkit summed it up with quiet warmth. He said, “Change is the only constant, so humari dosti aur gehri aur behtar hi hui hai in saalo mein.” According to him, time hasn’t diluted their bond—it has only strengthened it.

Pulkit also recalled a moment from the sets of Rahu Ketu that truly highlighted their understanding of each other. Sharing an anecdote, he revealed, “Rahu Ketu mein ek scene hai jaha pe hum dono thoda jhagdte hai ek dusre se… we just came on set, and we were in our own moods and wo scene hua, humlog ek dusre pe chilla rahe hai.” After the shot, however, reality hit differently. “Humne ek dusre ko yahi bola ki bhai humne ek dusre se aise life mein kabhi baat nahi kari hai. I’ve never raised my tone towards him, and he has never raised his tone towards me.”

He added with a smile, “Jabki hum ek doosre se bohot irritate hote hai…  aisa nahi hai, ki he’s the cutest (pulls Varun’s cheek) he’s the pyaara. Bohot irritate karta hai, but the love is much more than the irritation, and we grow as partners, I think now.”

Wrapping up on a heartfelt note, Pulkit reflected on the importance of friendship in life, saying, “Life mein hi friendship bohot zaruri hai… agar aapki life mein aapke paas acche dost hai, toh aap kaam mein bhi badhiya karte hai aur life mein bhi acche se badhiya rehte hai.”
