Salim Khan recalls how he ‘unexpectedly’ fell in love with Helen

Speaking on The Invincibles with Arbaaz Khan, exclusively on Bollywood Bubble, Salim Khan recalled how he ‘unexpectedly’ fell in love with Helen. He opened up about his affair with the actress which was originally an ’emotional accident’. The veteran screenwriter recalled how Helen was out of work and how he helped her.

Salim Khan said in Hindi, “She had reached an age where it was difficult to those kinds of roles anymore. She came to me and our work was going really well.” He further revealed how he got her roles in a few movies.

Khan added, “Toh maine unko kuch hi dinon andar koi teen picturein unki karwa di. Toh unka aana-jaana shuru hogaya. Ab normally jab koi aadmi aesa kaam karta hai toh kuch expect bhi karta hai. (Then, in some three days, I got her a few films. Then we started meeting frequently. Now, normally, when someone helps you with work, that person also expects something out of you).

He continued, “She was young, I was also young. Mera koi aisa iraada nahi tha. Maine sirf madat ke liye kiya tha. (I didn’t intend for it to happen. I was just trying to help her out). She started respecting my gestures and attitude. I always say that love is rooted in respect. You cannot love anybody who you don’t respect.
