She also stressed that spending money on someone does not create any entitlement to intimacy. Uorfi Javed emphasises the importance of consent and praises women who have openly criticised the remarks by Pranit More. Scroll down to read what she said and watch the full interview.
Uorfi REACTS To Pranit More’s Rs 370 Biryani Row
When asked bout her comment on the ongoing Rs 370 Biryani controversy of BB19’s Pranit More, Uorfi said, “I mean, do these comedians not have females in their teams? Who would tell them that, bro, even when you hear what this guy is saying, as a female, you’d be like, and even as a male, you’d be like, ‘Kya bol raha hai yeh?’ Is this okay? So, doesn’t this guy have any females on his team to tell him, ‘Bro, this is not okay. You cannot put this out.’ Like, it doesn’t make sense. It’s really derogatory. Don’t you understand? So, I just feel like maybe they should hire more female teammates to tell them, ‘Bro, this is not okay.’ I love the way women are giving it back to him.”
She added, “Chahe tum Rs 3 lakh kharch kar do, Rs 3 crore kharch kar do, tab bhi you are not entitled to sex. Nothing—absolutely nothing—will entitle you to sex, no matter how much you spend. That’s it, and that’s all that matters. If a girl wants to have sex with you, she will have it with you, even if you give her nothing, or whether you give her crores and crores, I don’t know. So, no amount of money entitles you to sex.” (sic)
About Rs 370 Biryani Controversy
During the show, Himanshu Jangra shared that he went on a date where he paid Rs 370 for a plate of chicken biryani, joking that he deserved a ‘return’ on his investment. He recounted that after eating, the woman asked to be dropped off at home, and he joked about wanting something in return, suggesting they go to a park for further interaction. Jangra’s comments and the accompanying behaviour drew sharp criticism.
Following the uproar, Pranit uploaded a detailed video addressing the situation, expressing regret and admitting he should have intervened when the problematic remark was made. The controversy led to the Maharashtra Cyber Police registering an FIR against both Pranit and Himanshu for obscene and derogatory remarks. Additionally, the National Commission for Women (NCW) summoned them to address the issue.
