Happy Birthday Shah Rukh Khan, Shah Rukh Khan Birthday, Shah Rukh Khan, SRK Birthday

Shah Rukh Khan is a superstar and there are no double thoughts on that. But he is also a super doting father. He loves his kids- Aryan, Suhana and especially AbRam to the moon and back. And several interviews, photos and videos are proof of the same. He is the perfect father one could have TBH. He is not just a protective father but also a friend, guide, and philosopher to them. Shah Rukh Khan, unfortunately, was in a dark place recently when his eldest son Aryan was arrested in a drugs case. We saw how he was tensed and got to know that he hardly ate and was patiently waiting for his son to be back.

In one of the interviews, he had said that he will be worried about who will look after his wife and kids if someone harms him. However, if someone threatens his kids, he would not be in a self-preservation mode. He even added that he can give his life for his kids as he is Pathan and very protective of his family. As Shah Rukh Khan, the king of wit and charm turns a year older today, we have rounded off some of his quotes that scream he is a protective father. Some of the quotes will make shed a tear and some may make you just go aww!

1. Shah Rukh in an interview had said, “The decision to have a child is the decision to let a piece of your heart walk outside your body. I compare my relationships with people this way. If a very close friend of mine was standing and there was a speeding car coming towards them, I would jump and push them out of the way. If suppose my wife or my sister were standing in front of that speeding car, I would 100% pull them out and not mind getting hurt in the process. If a car was speeding towards my children, I would stand in front of that car and I’m sure I will stop it.”

2. He had once tweeted, “Today the only negative is that my kids have grown up… now to wait till they start believing in fairytales again…”

3.Gauri and my relationship have been geared entirely towards raising our children. That’s what eventually happens. Parents become parents at one point and that changes it all. We have a badass 18-year-old, a dainty 16-year-old and then there’s the three-year-old little gangster. Our conversations, our life together is through the prism of our children. They’ve been our focal point and have literally kept our world intact.

4. I’d rip off Aryan’s lips. I can’t rip off a girl’s lips — that’s not a charming gentlemanly thing to do. (Laughs) So, I will rip off Aryan’s lips, on behalf of the girl’s father. (Smiles) You can’t touch or harm a girl.

5. With Abram, I become a kid myself. I try and get him all the toys because somewhere, it’s also a way of living my own dreams. Maybe, even I wanted those toys when I was a kid, but we couldn’t afford it back then. Now, when I play with AbRam, I live those moments which I wanted to, but possibly couldn’t.”

6. “He (AbRam) is not meant for flashbulbs. I don’t want him to be a participant in this circus of public life that Iam a part of. That is what I do… Public life… The good, bad, ugly, goodness of media, the strangeness… I am part of it, not my children.”

7. “Suhana wants to be an actress. I see that zeal in her. She’s extremely good on stage, I’ve seen her performances. She’s admittedly a cinema fan and wants to be in the industry. But my point is simple — you need to complete your education before doing anything. That’s the only thing I have told my children. Otherwise, they are free to be in the film industry, not be in it and do whatever they like. I will be supportive of whatever they want to do. While Aryan has now grown up and is more macho, he’s building his body and all, Suhana is more loving. I think she’s the softest person in the house. And AbRam is my little monster.”

8. In the year 2014, during a press meet, SRK opened up on what is common between him and his kids. “None of my children have my habits. I thank god for that. They are good kids. The only commonality between Suhana, AbRam and me is that we get dimples”.

9. Talking to NDTV, he opened up Suhana and her marriage, “I know that when it comes down to it when my daughter likes somebody, I’ll not be able to say anything and just accept it. Before it happens, I thought I’ll just put this out, just in case somebody reads it and thinks they should respect me a little more than they can, and take it seriously.”

10. As per Hindustan Times, SRK once said, “He (Aryan) wants to be a filmmaker. We are friends, so I told him to learn whichever aspects of film he can go and learn… The other day I met (famed cinematographer) Ravi Varman, I told him to go and learn camera with him. He has been doing that.”
