‘Gold’

Akshay Kumar will be playing an athlete in Reema Kagti’s ‘Gold’. The film is about India’s first Olympic medal after getting Independence. The movie, which is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, is slated to release in 2018.

A film with Karan Johar and Salman Khan

A big collaboration is on the cards. Akshay will be starring a film which will be produced by Salman Khan and Karan Johar. Apparently, the film is said to be based on Battle of Saragarhi. We are sure this film is already one of the most awaited films of 2018.

‘Crack’

Akshay Kumar is all set to collaborate with Neeraj Pandey once again for a film titled ‘Crack’. The movie was slated to hit the screens in August this year. But, while sharing his line-up for 2017, Akki didn’t announce ‘Crack’ because of which a speculation started that the film has been shelved. However, Akki later tweeted, “Friends, pls don't believe everything you hear in the media. Film-making is an art & sometimes takes longer than expected! #CRACKWILLHAPPEN.” Well, we wonder if the film will release this year as scheduled or will be postponed to next year.

‘Naam Shabana’

‘Naam Shabana’ is a prequel of Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Baby’. However, in this film Taapsee Pannu will play the lead role, and Akshay will have an extended cameo. It is slated to hit the screens on March 31.

‘PadMan’

Akshay Kumar will be a part of a film titled ‘PadMan’ which will be directed by R Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna. This one is surely one of the most interesting films of Akki to look forward to. It is about the man who invented a machine to make inexpensive sanitary pads. The movie will also star Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

‘2.0’

One of the most awaited films of the year is ‘2.0’ starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The latter plays an antagonist in the film and this will be for the first time when he will be sharing screen space with Rajinikanth. It is slated to release during Diwali this year, and we are there will be fireworks at the box office.

‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’

After ‘Jolly LL.B 2’, the actor’s next release will be ‘Toilet - Ek Prem Katha’. The film is said to be based on PM Narendra Modi's 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan'. The movie stars Bhumi Pednekar opposite Akshay, and is slated to hit the screens on June 2.

‘Jolly LL.B 2’

Akshay Kumar will be seen in a film titled ‘Jolly LL.B 2’ which is a sequel of 2013 release ‘Jolly LLB’. The actor will be seen playing the role of a lawyer in the movie. The trailer and the songs of the film are out, and there’s a good pre-release buzz around the sequel.
