Sushmita Sen: Sushmita Sen revealed she suffered a heart attack ‘couple of days back’. The actress shared a picture with her father on Instagram and informed fans about the same. A part of her caption read, “I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back… Angioplasty done… stent in place… and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’.” Post that, Sushmita went live on Instagram and informed fans that she suffered a ‘massive heart attack’ with 95% blockage in one of her main arteries. The actress is now back to workout.

Annu Kapoor: Annu Kapoor, who has been a part of films including Ayushman Khurrana’s Vicky Donor and Dream Girl, suffered a heart attack in February. The actor had complained of chest pain and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Speaking with Hindustan Times, Annu Kapoor had revealed, “It was a heart attack. I am getting better, and now on the road to recovery. Things are looking better.”

Sunil Grover: In February last year, Sunil Grover, who is popularly known for playing Mashoor Gulati, suffered a heart attack. The comedian’s doctor had told ETimes, “He had chest pain after which he was advised to visit the hospital. After blood tests and ECG, it was discovered that he had suffered a heart attack. He was given medication and medically stabilised. He was also found Covid positive. Although he had no symptoms – no fever, no cough – the treatment was given for that as well.”

The doctor added, “After a week of his admission, an angiography was done. It showed blockages in all three major heart (contrary) arteries with 100% block in two arteries and 70-90% block in the third artery. His heart function was normal and fortunately, there was no damage to the heart muscle. Hence, bypass surgery was recommended and done.”

Remo D’Souza: Remo D’Souza suffered a heart attack in December 2020. Speaking with ETimes, Remo had revealed, “It was a just a regular day. I had my breakfast and went to the gym. Lizelle (wife) and I share the same trainer, who was already training her. So, I was waiting for my turn, and in the meanwhile, I did some brisk walking on the treadmill and stretching on the foam roller. Then, I was just sitting idle, waiting for my turn. As soon as Lizelle finished, I got up, but I started feeling pain at the center of my chest.”

Remo added, “Since it wasn’t in my left arm, I thought it was because of acidity. So, I drank water. But the pain was still there, so I told my trainer that we should cancel the training for the day. When Lizelle and I took the elevator to go up, I pressed the lift button and sat down. Once I stepped out of the lift I started coughing and I even wanted to throw up. Lizelle saw my smart watch, which checks on the heartbeat and ECG and the screen prompted ‘Are you not well?’ This pain was something that I had never experienced in my life. On reaching the hospital, we were told by the doctors that it’s a major heart attack.”

Saif Ali Khan: Saif Ali Khan suffered a heart attack in 2007. The actor was admitted to the intensive care unit and underwent an ECG, which had shown that he had irregular heartbeat. At that time, Saif was 36 years old.
